The first day of travel is a mixture of exhaustion, excitement, and anxiety! Weeks of preparation, packing and re-packing, and stressing over "Did I forget anything?" start to fade as you make your way to the airport. Forgot to pack your headphones? Nothing you can do about it now. Forgot to wash that last coffee mug in the sink? Oh well, it'll still be there when you get home!
On the plane, time pauses. You do what you can to make the time pass -- watch a movie, read a book, play games, talk to the person next to you, or just sleep. You almost forget that you have a destination, and for a few hours, it's all about just getting there.
And then... you arrive! Suddenly, that rush of excitement hits you. The stress is gone, the boredom is gone, and all that's left is why you wanted to travel in the first place: the sheer joy, curiosity, eagerness of discovery, the promise of new cultures, new experiences, and new people -- a whole world opened up to you.
